History
Historical Background of Sipat Elementary School
In 1953, Mr. David Santos donated a parcel of land to the community of Brgy. Sipat for the establishment of a school; there were only Grades one and two. In 1967, the new Grades were III-IV class, and soon after, followed by the Grade V class. There was a significant increase in enrolment, and other teachers were assigned. Sipat Primary School became a complete elementary and formally renamed Sipat Elementary School in 1988.
In 1992, Mr. Alejandro Cervantes, the teacher-in-charge, during his time an additional 1,000 square meters of land was purchased through the help of the former Governor Roberto Pagdaganan and donated the amount of Php 40,000.00. The following are the past school heads of Sipat ES : Resurrection Suatengco (1995-2002), Mrs. Dolores T. Castillo (2002-2003) Ms. Perlita B. de Leon (2003-2005), Ma. Teresa S. Gatchalian- OIC (2005-2006) Mrs. Lizette M. Gregorio (2006-2009), Ms. Veronidia G. Ramirez (2009-2014), Mrs. Venus Ruth C. Gatchalian (2014-2016), Ma. Teresa S. Gatchalian- OIC (2016-2017), Manolo C. As the number of enrolment increases, more classrooms are needed. The DEPED purchased 1,202 square meters of land to Mrs. Ana Marcelita C. Shaihati. Two (2) story 4 (four) classrooms were constructed through the budget of the Provincial Government Building (PGB) and thru the hard effort of Mrs. Teresa S. Gatchalian, OIC (2016-2017). The purpose-driven vision and mission of Sipat Elementary School serve as light-house that guides its journey through the years.
Currently, the school has two (2) pre-school teachers, fourteen (17) grade school teachers, and two (2) utility workers.
