BRIEF HISTORY OF SIIS
San Isidro Integrated School of Baggao East is a school situated across the historic Abusag bridge of the majestic Paranan river of Baggao. It caters both Elementary grades and Junior High School. It is considered as one of the best performing schools in the district when it comes to academic competitions and physical improvement.
WAY BACK TIME
It was in 1956 when the school were surveyed. There were only 2 classrooms where the grades I and II, and grades III and IV stayed. It was a combination class supervised by 2 teachers headed by an officer-in-charge.
It was in 1961 when the school received the approval from the Ministry of Education and the school were named- San Isidro Primary School. The school continuously catered small number of pupils still with a combination classes and 2 teachers.
In 1988, this small primary school bloomed into an elementary school with 5 teachers and a Teacher-in-Charge.
CONTINUOS PROGRESS
With the continuos improvement of the school both in physical development and academic performance, the Public Schools District Supervisor, Dr. Estrella D. Dimaya with the Head Teacher III, Mr. Dionicio B. Pascual, proposed the conversion of San Isidro Elementary School to Integrated School after a 2-storey, 8-classroom building was constructed on 2016 and completed on 2017 to house the Junior High School Students.
More improvements and developments paved its way when Mr. Rey T. Raguingan was assigned as the new principal of the school since January 18, 2018. It is during his time that the school lot title was acquired.
SIIS is continuously improving. It continuously serve the learners with the tagline SIIS: Striving for the Best!
