YOUTH FORMATION

The Department of Education (DepEd) Youth Formation Division is a unit within the DepEd in the Philippines that is tasked with developing and implementing programs and activities that promote the holistic development of young people. 

Its mission is to foster a culture of learning and leadership among students, to enable them to become responsible and productive citizens of the country.

The division is responsible for the implementation of various programs, projects, and activities that aim to promote the intellectual, emotional, social, and physical well-being of students. These programs include leadership training, values formation, civic engagement, sports development, and arts and culture.

The DepEd Youth Formation Division also coordinates with various stakeholders, including government agencies, non-governmental organizations, and the private sector, to ensure the successful implementation of its programs. 

Additionally, it provides technical assistance and support to schools and other educational institutions to ensure that they are able to effectively implement the division's programs.

The DepEd Youth Formation Division plays a crucial role in shaping the character and leadership potential of Filipino youth, and in preparing them to become active and responsible members of society.
