In line with sustaining this legacy, SGOD provides essential resources and facilities and conducts regular training and capacity-building programs for teachers and school personnel to prepare learners for lifelong success. SGOD ServiceConnect is a digital platform designed to streamline access to information, event scheduling, and feedback for school personnel. It reduces the need for physical visits to the SGOD office by offering a centralized online resource, saving time and money, and enhancing communication between the School Governance and Operations Division (SGOD) and its stakeholders.
The platform provides a comprehensive database where users can easily download necessary forms and templates, along with contact information and an online calendar. A clickable menu guides users through different sections, each offering details on various activities.

SGOD SERVICE CONNECT
This innovation was developed to improve education service delivery through digital transformation. The Schools Division of Iloilo serves 56 districts across 42 municipalities, with over 1,176 public schools, 22,452 personnel, and 496,582 learners.
The initiative was led by Dr. Arlene E. Yap, former Assistant Schools Division Superintendent, and Dr. Gilbert D. Solidum, SGOD Chief. Their leadership helped establish a more efficient and accessible digital support system for educators and learners.

Before SGOD SERVICE CONNECT, many processes were manual, access to forms was limited, scheduling was difficult, and feedback channels were inadequate. Teachers and school personnel often had to travel to the SGOD office, resulting in additional expenses and lost time.
The platform is designed to automate processes, reduce workload, and improve accessibility by providing digital access to forms and documents, improving scheduling to minimize conflicts, maintaining an online directory for easier communication, and offering a feedback system for more accessible engagement.
SGOD SERVICE CONNECT represents a significant step in DepEd Iloilo’s digital transformation, making services more efficient, accessible, and responsive. It demonstrates how visionary leadership and technology can turn challenges into opportunities and create lasting improvements in education service delivery.
