HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT
The Human Resource and Development (HRD) Section is responsible for enhancing the skills and capabilities of personnel in the division. This section diligently develops and monitors policies and programs, offering recommendations derived from research findings and M&E reports. It conducts thorough assessments of the human resource development landscape, guiding the creation of HRD plans to ensure skilled personnel availability. The HRD section also coordinates HR Development Plans, training programs, scholarship initiatives, and maintains the Training and Development Information System to facilitate accurate record-keeping. Additionally, it oversees succession planning, leadership development, and retirement programs, monitors employee welfare programs, and provides essential technical assistance to schools and learning centers. In essence, the HRD Section plays a pivotal role in promoting professional growth and organizational excellence within DepEd.
Moreover, the HRD section's core responsibilities encompass the formulation of a Human Resource Development Plan for the Schools Division and the coordination of various training and development programs, including career development initiatives.
