GRADE 8 ONLY:

• HOME- BASED ACTIVITIES: Refer to PIVOT 4A Learner’s Material in Science 8, Week 1

• Read the introduction about Lesson 1: Changes in the Motion of Objects, provided in the PIVOT 4A Learner’s Material in Science 8, Week 1 page 6)

• You can watch the video lesson episode on this website just go to the Video Lesson tab> Grade 8 > Quarter 1 > Episode 3 and 4.

• Do the Learning Task 1 refer to page 7, fill in the box the correct letter (s) being described in each item.

• Write your answer on a one whole sheet of paper. Do not forget to write your complete name, grade and section, date, week number, learning task number (example: Week 1 - Learning Task #1)

• Read the lesson about Law of Acceleration: Newton's Second Law of motion, provided in the PIVOT 4A Learner’s Material in Science 8, Week 1 pages 8-9)

• Do the Learning Task 2 refer to page 9, Use the GRESA method in solving the problem. Show your solutions. Write your answers in your 1 intermediate pad paper. Copy and Answer.

GRADE 9 ONLY:

• Watch a short video on how a Respiratory and Circulatory System Works Together to Perform their Specific Function Effectively.

• Do the Learning Task 3A refer to page 9 of your PIVOT 4A Learner’s Material in Science 9, Weeks 1-2, construct a Venn Diagram that shows the similarities and differences of Respiratory and Circulatory System. Read the directions carefully.

• Read the informative text explaining the heart and blood circulation refer to pages 10-11 of your PIVOT 4A Learner’s Material in Science 9, Weeks 1-2.

• Do the Learning Task 5: Face Mask Design refer to page 12 of your PIVOT 4A Learner’s Material in Science 9, Weeks 1-2. Read the directions carefully.
