The School-Based Management (SBM) Dashboard of the Schools Division Office (SDO) Batangas Province is a dynamic digital tool developed to support the effective implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of SBM practices across all public schools within the division. Anchored on the principles of decentralized decision-making and participatory governance, the dashboard provides school heads, supervisors, and education stakeholders with real-time access to relevant SBM indicators and assessment results.
The SBM Dashboard of SDO Batangas Province is structured around six key dimensions that comprehensively assess the implementation of School-Based Management practices across all public schools. Curriculum and Learning (Indicators 1–8) focuses on the quality of teaching and learning processes, curriculum implementation, and learner outcomes. Learning Environment (Indicators 9–18) ensures that the physical and psychosocial school environment is safe, inclusive, gender-responsive, and conducive to meaningful learning. The Leadership dimension (Indicators 19–22) evaluates the capacity of school leaders to provide strategic direction, facilitate instructional supervision, and lead continuous improvement efforts. Governance and Accountability (Indicators 23–28) emphasizes participatory decision-making, stakeholder engagement, and transparent use of data and resources to ensure shared accountability. Human Resource and Team Development (Indicators 29–35) examines the systems in place for professional development, performance management, and collaborative teamwork among school personnel. Lastly, Finance and Resource Management and Mobilization (Indicators 36–42) assesses the efficiency, transparency, and effectiveness of financial planning, resource allocation, and mobilization in support of school improvement initiatives. These dimensions serve as the foundation for the Division’s data-driven monitoring, planning, and technical assistance efforts, all aimed at enhancing school effectiveness and learner success.
Aligned with the Division’s thrust for data-driven governance and transparency, the SBM Dashboard enhances the capacity of both schools and governance levels to make evidence-informed decisions, monitor continuous school improvement efforts, and foster greater community participation. It supports the Division's goal of strengthening school autonomy while ensuring alignment with national education priorities and the MATATAG Agenda.
Through this system, SDO Batangas Province reaffirms its commitment to building empowered, accountable, and learner-centered school communities.
