San Miguel Elementary School II came into existence in the year 1998 through the idea of Mr. Doug Daft, the President and Chief Operating Officer of Coca Cola Co. based in Atlanta, Georgia on building stronger relationships with the communities. Their 118th anniversary marks with a stronger thrust towards playing an increasingly important role in being a direct participant in each of the communities where the famous Coca Cola brand is present.

The children of sugarcane field workers from its three (3) catchment areas namely Hda. Estela A, Estela B and Sitio Dulom were fortunate as recipients of the program. Coca-Cola provides training for administrators, teachers and Parent-Community Association to enable them to manage and sustain the project after the school is turned over to them.

It started as a Multi-Grade school with four (4) teachers as pioneer namely, Mrs. Joyce F. Yanson, Grade One Adviser, Mrs. Jean D. Castillo, Grade Two and Three Adviser and Ms. Juliet R. Samillano, Grade Four and Five Adviser assisted by Miss Analiza Bionat. It was under the supervision of Dr. Zenaida V. Gahaton, the Principal of its mother school the San Miguel Elementary School I.

In October 1998, the schoolhouse was completed and turned over to the government with Education Secretary Andrew Gonzales as guest of honor. Due to the increase of population, additional classrooms were built to meet the needs of the increasing enrolment. The school was developed and became a complete Mono-Grade in the year 2000.
