RETROSPECT BATANG BATANGUEÑO

Following Basic Education Curriculum, more specifically (RA 10533), Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao Curriculum, the standard of functional literacy is to acquire the skill of decisiveness to act with responsibility for the good of everyone.

As Filipinos, we are all known for our good characteristics and values. When we were still young we are taught by our parents to give respect to elders, love our brothers and sisters, have faith in God, and be kind always. However, in our generation today these traits are slowly fading. That is why it is important to let our future generation realize how important values are. Good manners and right conduct are being emphasized in the subject Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao. It is one of the most important things that should be taught not just in school but at home as well.

Retrospect BatangBatangueno Project aims to build a values-oriented education culture through the inculcation of target values in everyday tasks of the learners. This project seeks the sense of practice until it becomes a part of the habit and attitude of learners in the present times. This project also captivates the significant time of remote teaching and schooling at home that the learners rekindle the true Batangueno values with the help and guide of their parents.

In connection with the said project, Sampiro Integrated Senior High School assigned weekly tasks/challenges to be accomplished by the learners. Through this, the expected values needed to develop among learners were taken into action. Parents' and family member’s testimonies will reflect the changes that happened towards the learners.
