Geminiana Cudiamat Macalindong is currently teaching Grade 9 Science and Research I to students from the Special Science Curriculum and Basic Education Curriculum at Balayan National High School, a public junior high school in the Philippines. 

She is a recipient of Fulbright Distinguished Awards in Teaching Program for International Teachers (formerly International Leaders in Education Program) of the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the U.S. Department of State implemented by IREX (the International Research & Exchanges Board), a non-profit organization based in Washington, D.C. In the Philippines, Fulbright DAI is administered by the Philippine-American Educational Foundation (Fulbright Philippines). Her participation in the 2013 program provided her the opportunity to grow more professionally and develop deeper understanding about multicultural education, technology integration in education, teaching strategies and teacher leadership.

In December 2023, Geminiana Macalindong is also awarded as one of the outstanding high school teachers in the province of Batangas during the year's Gawad Balisong, the flagship project under the Rewards and Recognition Program of the Schools Division of Batangas Province.
