ABSTRACT
This study encourages teachers to use CLT strategies in oral communication classes to improve students’ English oral communication skills and provide variety of instructional materials or contexts. Since CLT strategies are motivational, enjoyable, interesting and unique, these motivate or stimulate learner to respond, to share, to interact, to discuss and to perform in a natural way with meaningful learning. As the students engage in CLT strategies, these allow learners to produce the second language freely, naturally and spontaneously with less pressured and less anxiety. With the help of these useful strategies, the students produce the language without having of fear of committing mistakes and being corrected, so in this case, learning becomes easier and meaningful. With the use of the CLT strategies, there is meaningful interaction by which speakers are concerned not with the form of their utterances but with the messages they are conveying and understanding.
