Rationale

Project TURO (Teacher Upskilling on Research Operations) Research Website is an online repository of researches developed by teachers in Central Butuan District 2. It highlights the different research activities of the district which underwent thorough evaluation and validation process that can serve as references for research enthusiasts who want to explore and conduct their own researches.

Project TURO Research Website is an initiative of CBD 2 Research Managers under Project DRAW (District Research Activity Website) of Butuan City Division.

UPDATES

Central Butuan District II successfully conducted its Research Congress last April 28, 2022.

Out of the 7 teacher-researchers who courageously presented their papers, Mr. Benedicto Y. Mindajao of Butuan City School of Arts and Trades bagged the first place.

His research paper with the title "Effectiveness of Project Electronic Personal Messaging Modality in Grade Reporting (E-PM Mo GradeR) Chatbot as an Innovative Modality in Grade Reporting in the New Normal" will be presented as entry of the district to the upcoming Division Research Congress.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

DepEd Butuan City Division through the Research and Planning Section will hold the 2022 Division Research Congress on July 27, 2022 at SM Event Center with the theme: "Innovation and Excellence: Uplifting Educational Research Amidst Crisis.

The congress specifically aims to:

a. share best practices and innovations that strategically improve the access, quality, and governance of basic education;

b. strengthen the alignment of research initiatives with the Basic Education Research Agenda;

c. capacitate educators and policymakers on the new trends of research techniques and methodologies; and

d. foster the culture of conducting research in aid of evidence-based policy formulation, program and development, and replication of research-enabled practices.
