Class overview
The special science class or training is designed to enrich the understanding of students in grades 7 to 9 in various science disciplines including Earth Science, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. The overarching goal of this project is to foster a deep appreciation and understanding of science concepts among students. Furthermore, the program aims to cultivate a cadre of scientifically inclined learners who are prepared to excel in science competitions both within and beyond the school setting. The interactive and comprehensive curriculum is specifically tailored to enhance students' grasp of fundamental scientific principles and their ability to apply these principles in real-world contexts.
About me
I am currently the school's Science Coordinator and Science Club Adviser. I've been teaching Junior High School Science Subjects since 2017.
I am Mrs. Dalia Fortu, a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines with Certificate in Teacher Education from Paete Science and Business College and currently taking Masters in Education Major in Science and Technology.
What fuels my passion for teaching science is not just the transmission of knowledge but the cultivation of wonder. Every experiment, every observation, every question from a student carries the potential to spark a lifelong pursuit of knowledge. This pursuit transcends textbooks and classroom walls, and it's this transformative power that makes teaching science so gratifying. Whether it's seeing the 'aha' moment on a student's face or witnessing the blossoming of scientific curiosity, teaching science is a privilege and a profound responsibility, and I cherish every opportunity to share the wonders of the natural world with the next generation.
