"How might we craft relevant, meaningful, and inspiring EdTech PD sessions for teachers that address hesitancy and foster confidence in utilizing edtech tools? "
The Google Certified Educator Accelerator Program or otherwise referred to as the GCE Accelerator Program or by the acronym GAP is an educational technology- and needs-based upskilling program initiated by Filipino TeachNovator Joseph Gabriel Educado (#VIA21) that focuses on elevating the Filipino educator's core values and mindsets, transforming pedagogies, and increase proficiency and competence in edtech integration.
Conceptualized around the need of further supporting Filipino educators in navigating their way around and within the online class and hybrid models of teaching and learning delivery in the Philippines, the GCE Accelerator Program further pushes the possibilities of closing the GAP in terms of training delivery and contribute to the personal-professional development and the changing of values and mindsets of teachers - that is, going beyond "compliance", "badge collection", and "apathy" and capitalize on invigorating their dreams, idealism, and passion for education and in transforming the lives of their learners and their communities.

Through the GCE Accelerator Program's SPEED Training DNA, we shall prepare you to learn the fundamentals, increase your competency, and guide you in integrating educational technology (e.g. Google Workspace for Education Tools and other educational technology applications and pedagogies) to transform your classrooms, supercharge your workflow, inculcate a passion-driven personal and professional growth mindset.

The Program highlights its mission of producing empowered and passionate Filipino GCEs through its Coaching and Mentoring feature to promote confidence and ensure readiness for the Certification Examination.

Exam Registration Support
Exam Registration Support
The Program shall guide and provide support to its trainees in completing their certification exam registration (signing-up, setting up of profile, and payment). Voucher Assistance can also be granted to trainees who showed and demonstrated promising performance, progress, and attitude throughout the training duration.

Participants are introduced to a community of program alumni built around the SPEED DNA that helps and supports each other as they progress in their respective professional development journeys. They, too, are provided networking opportunities to other Professional Learning Networks (PLNs) such as the nearest Google Educator Group in their respective localities.
