Pigcarangan Integrated School, formerly Pigcarangan Elementary School, is one of the Integrated schools in Lanao del Norte under Tubod West District located at Barangay Pigcarangan, Tubod, Lanao del Norte. The school is empowered to set its own goals, assumes the responsibilities in planning, and implementing their respective development agenda, periodically reviews and assesses their progress based on results.
The plan describes areas, which focuses and addresses the pressing needs, and problems of the school. Thus, raising the academic performance of the learners, we eventually develop their full potential for them to learn the desired skills to be ready for the next level of education. The School Improvement Plan is based on the data collected, organized and analyzed, which reflects the real situation of the school. It will serve as the framework of improvement, the guidelines of implementation, the basis for monitoring and evaluation tool in assessing progress. The SIP of Pigcarangan Integrated School is a shared effort and a collective responsibility of the School Planning Team composed of the School Principal, Teachers, PTA President, Students’ Organization Chairman, Sangguniang Barangay Council members, and the Governing Council.
Pigcarangan Integrated School is also committed to open honest and ongoing communication with our school community. We understand that maintaining a two-way conversation which parents and community members is essential for building relationships. These relationships are the foundation for a strong school system that’s why stakeholders are tapped to support in finding solutions to whatever problems of the school, be it financial, materials and labor. They are also part of the formulation of this document.
This School Improvement Plan is a working document for use by all stakeholders that encompasses the policies, ethics, morals, norms, principles, standards and aims of our school. It also includes Action Plans which outline in more detailed specific targets, personnel involved and timescales. This plan is a flexible document which may be adapted in order to take account of new developments and initiatives which affect the school. It formally identifies the future strategic direction of the school.
As members of Pigcarangan Integrated School Team, we hereby affix our signature to affirm our commitment to see through the implementation of the School Improvement Plan. We promise to maintain and review the progress of the SIP. We consider the school as the home of love and positivity in its perspective. Improving the quality and performance of the school is our goal. We are looking forward to whatever best we can impart on the young minds, who are the cream crop of the society.
