In BCES, our mission is to protect and promote the right of every Filipino to a quality, equitable, culture-based basic education in a caring environment where everyone is happy, safe, and secure. With the commitment and support from fully trained professional instructional heads, teachers, and staff, every child is guided and encouraged to develop their full potential in all areas of learning to become an independent learner. We recognize that everyone has a role to play in the development of children, and that all efforts, no matter how big or small, are recognized. Therefore, we strive to maintain a close working relationship with parents, stakeholders, and other professionals at all times.

We place a strong emphasis on working hard, supporting one another and good standards of behavior and courtesy. We uphold the Deped Core Values of Maka-Diyos, Maka-tao, Makakalikasan at Makabansa.

           As the school principal of Butuan Central Elementary School, I believe that it is my responsibility to maintain and strengthen our school's supportive and collaborative culture.
