The Quality Assurance Division (QAD) of the Department of Education – Negros Island Region is committed to upholding standards of excellence in basic education through rigorous quality assurance, compliance monitoring, and standards validation across all public and private schools in the region.
Guided by national policies and frameworks, QAD ensures that educational programs, institutions, and support systems meet established benchmarks of quality, relevance, and effectiveness. It spearheads the review and endorsement of permits, recognitions, and certifications, and facilitates regional quality assurance initiatives in collaboration with Schools Division Offices (SDOs).
SOUVENIR is the flagship quality assurance initiative of the DepEd Negros Island Region’s Quality Assurance Division (QAD). It represents the region’s commitment to harmonize, elevate, and showcase the quality assurance systems and practices across all 21 Schools Division Offices.
Anchored on the principles of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement, SOUVENIR serves as a unifying platform for standardizing tools, strengthening field validation, and elevating quality assurance benchmarks.
