School History

It started in 1999 as an annex of Ilugin Elementary School having 2 buildings of 24 classrooms named after Mayor Vicente P. Eusebio (VPE) who ordered the construction. The school then offered Grades I – IV with only 12 teachers. Due to the influx of enrolments the following year, the school formally operated as a complete elementary school and another building named after Soledad C. Eusebio (SCE) was constructed and completed in December 2001.

With its rapid and gradual development, Ilugin Elementary School – Nagpayong Annex was awarded as “The Most Improved School” in the Division of Pasig City.

On October 12, 2005, the Department of Education granted its separation from the mother school and thus named Nagpayong Elementary School. The said school then was reclassified to Principal 2 Category.

Nagpayong Elementary School has remained a relevant molder of the youth through the strong leadership of its past and present administrators. Mrs. Arsenia B. Soriano was the first Principal of the school. Others who served as the principal are as follows: Mr. Artemio O. Danseco, Dr. Milagros S. Bargas, Mrs. Zenaida C. Perez, Divina B. Gaerlan, Zenaida G. San Buenaventura, Dr. Ruben H. Opeña and Mrs. Emelita T. Medina, who is the current principal of the school.

In 2018, another six (6) storey Eusebio Building with twelve (12) classrooms, Feeding Room, Canteen, Library, Industrial Room, Speech Laboratory, Computer Laboratory and Home Economics Room was inaugurated and ready to use.

Nagpayong Elementary School, as it sails through the years, soars and aims for excellence, for God and for country!
