The following are the library resources composition.
1.Non-Fiction
All the non-fiction books start with a number called a Dewey number, followed by the first letter of the author's name.
The Dewey numbers work like this:
000-099 Generalities (Algebra, Trigonometry, Statistics)
100-199 Philosophy and Psychology
200-299 Religion
300-399 Social Sciences/Sociology
400-499 Languages, Grammar
500-599 Natural Science
600-699 Applied Science and Technology (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Health)
700-799 The Arts (Music)
800-899 Literature
900-999 Geography, Biography, History
Filipiniana
2. Fiction
The Fiction section of the library is the place where you find the story books. The call numbers start with "F" Fiction followed by the first letter of the author's last name.
3. Periodical Section
The newspapers and magazines are on the display rack.
4. Reference Section
Here you will find the encyclopedias, handbooks, dictionaries, atlases, medical health encyclopedias, and science encyclopedias. These cannot be taken out of the library except for a class and then need to be returned immediately there after.
5. Pamphlet File or Vertical File has pamphlets and information taken out of newspapers, magazines, and other sources. These files are updated on a continual basis. Articles and pamphlets may be taken out of their files and checked out for 3 days.
