Introduction

Education was the most vital tool for everyone to become productive in life. It helped everyone to step further and excel in establishing positive effects where recognition and achievement can be acquired. It provided everyone the ability to think critically in both ways, to get a better decision inorder to cope and handle different life challenges and generated motivation for everyone to have better prospects needed to grow on their own chosen path in life.

Malabbac Elementary School has been provided the most attention among everything else because it decided the future of every learner. To align the curriculum and meet the need of every client, the quality education became a must for everyone, Malabbac Elementary School implements K to 12 program and aimed to create more skilled pupils with basic skills for lifelong learning and employment.

Curricular Offerings

· Malabbac Elementary School implements the K to 12 Curriculum and Special Science Curriculum which focuses on Science, Math and English.

· Battery of tests is administered to the Grade I entrants in order to select the pupils who will be under the SSES Program and this includes the Ravens Test which is administered by the Region.

· The Diagnostic test for Grades II-VI pupils is conducted to have a baseline data for the performance target.

· Individual oral reading test is conducted in Grades II to VI.

· Pupils are encouraged to participate in school, district/division and regional academic and sports competitions to foster good health and mental capacity.

· Remedial teaching in reading and numeracy is given ample time to help the slow learners.
