History

Mabolo Elementary School is located in a lot area of 11,428 sq.m. Bounded to the North of Juan Avenue to the east of the creek, down to the of C. Mina Street until to the west of M.J. Cuenco Avenue. The school area is fenced with concrete and study materials.

Moreover, It is a central school in urbanize city within and near commercial and business establishment, also in a residential zone. The school serves the children in living the entire barangay and some sitios in neighboring barangays. The school is accessible by all forms of communication.

Further, the school has (11) elementary instructional buildings they are the Administration, Roxas, Quirino, Benedicto, Garcia, Osmeña , JCI, Quezon (Marcos Type). Go Sotto, Arroyo and kindergarten. Last 2011, the administration. Building was added with 3 functional classrooms. It has (1) covered court and 1 cultural center. We have now 4 computer laboratories located at 2^nd floor of Arroyo Bldg and newly renovated Science Laboratory donated by Aboitiz Land. We also have the first ever E-learning Center donated by Aboitiz Foundation.

The schools water supply is basically supplied by three artesian wells with 3 water tanks and Metro Cebu Water District (MCWD).

The project and infrastructures of the school were funded by the School PTA, Barangay Mabolo LGU, City Government and Aboitiz Foundation Incorporation.
