BENEDICTO P. TIRAMBULO MEMORIAL NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL (BPTMNHS), formerly known as Paniabonan High School is located at Barangay Paniabonan, Mabinay, Negros Oriental along the national highway going to the North while the new Senior High School (SHS) site is situated just across the main campus with approximately 8, 000 sq. meters from a total land area of 1,625.30 hectares and one of the biggest barangays in the municipality of Mabinay. It is geographically found at the Southern part and 9 kms away from town proper. The school is very accessible for transportation such as Ceres Liner, buses and other vehicles.

The barangay is highly agricultural place and inhabited by business–minded and peace-loving people. The place is very promising and environment-friendly having a very low record on criminal incidents and other human-induced hazards. Its attraction is near the school, a Man-Made Ecosystem known as Don Cristito C. Tirambulo Lake Highland Resort.

For 25 years of existence, BPTMNHS standstill as one of the promising institutions in Mabinay District I that imbibes Christian values and quality education which is not only of the mind but also of the heart. Since June 1995, the school has continued delivering the basic educational goods, making each learner productive, competitive and digitally native in gearing up the quest of excellence in mind, body and character in the 21^st century.

The school has gradually developed its different features from the time of establishing until today. June 2016, BPTMNHS embraced the curriculum shift-Integrated Senior High School as mandated in DepEd in implementing the “K to 12 Basic Education Curriculum while raising the educational standards. It is then evident that the school’s enrolment escalates every year (see enrolment profile.)It offers 2 tracks, namely: ACADEMIC TRACK with Humanities and Social Sciences Strand (HUMSS) and Accountancy, Business and Management Strand (ABM) and TECHNICAL VOCATIONAL LIVELIHOOD (TVL) TRACK with Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Agriculture (AGRI) and Computer Systems Servicing (CSS) strands.

Giving the best educational services, the Department of Education has provided technical assistance to all teachers employing the system of competency requirement in order to match the skills of the workforce (student-graduates) to those required by employers. The school is also provided with enough physical facilities, tools and equipment for laboratory purposes. Enhancement of students’ skills are honed through immersion program requiring each learner to follow making them ready in college education or at work.

The DepEd through each respective schools has also entered into agreements with business organizations, chambers of commerce and industry players in order to ensure that K to 12 graduates will be considered for employment and competitive in the field of work.
