Out of convenience and with the idea of recycling, people tend to make use of their used plastic bottles as water containers. It is a common practice done by most of the people. It is handy compared to pitchers because you can either place it horizontal or vertical. So, the Jalajala Elementary School joined the project of DepEd thru YES-O to care our environment and teach all the pupils/students how to motivate them to recycle instead of throwing the plastic bottles into the river or in the canal and make floods. This project anchored to another project of Jalajala Elementary School which is “Paaralan Ko! Mahal Ko!”

The goal of sustainable agriculture is to meet society’s food and textile needs in the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. Practitioners of sustainable agriculture seek to integrate three main objectives into their work: a healthy environment, economic profitability, and social and economic equity. Every person involved in the food system—growers, food processors, distributors, retailers, consumers, and waste managers—can play a role in ensuring a sustainable agricultural system. -https://asi.ucdavis.edu/

After the evaluation, Our school believe that this honesty store is really a good way of promoting and encouraging others to practice honesty. It is very inspiring that through the initiative of our learners and especially, our Honesty Store Coordinator Mrs. Maricel P. Bathan in setting up the store, the earnings they get are being used in funding what our school needed. We hope that in the future, the new batches of learners will sustain this, and that the store will continue its cycle of earning and helping. Through this, honesty will continue to be promoted and more people will be reached out.
