The Objectives of the HUMSS Strand
SCINHS's HUMSS strand curriculum was designed to nurture students’ natural creativity and interest in sociology and the arts. The strand equips them with knowledge and skills so they can be confident in pursuing a career in HUMSS. Students enrolled in the HUMSS strand can expect to:
Acquire the appropriate mindset to understand complex theorems about people’s psyche and behavior.
Enhance their critical thinking skills necessary for analyzing texts and build logical arguments.
Develop strong verbal communication and writing skills to articulate their ideas in both scholarly and secular work.
Strengthen their interpersonal skills so they can confidently build
rapport with future clients, patients, and audiences.
At SCINHS, we develop HUMSS strand courses that help students to grow and become well-rounded individuals capable of thinking critically and exercising empathy in any context.
