HINUKAY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

History of The School

Hinukay Elementary School is a DepEd Managed urban public school located in Baliuag, Bulacan. Back then, Hinukay Elementary School was only just an annex school of Josefa V. Ycasiano Memorial School which offer grades 1-4 level only and had to jammed in 2 classrooms, with only 2 teachers. In 1998, Governor Roberto Pagdanganan and Senator Bals Ople had granted the school and acknowledged to offer a full and complete program of elementary levelthrough the help of Ernesto Villasenor, the barangay captain at that time and the whole community of barangay Hinukay

The total land area of the school measures 1,359 square meters which are totaled at Barangay Hinukay. As time goes by, the number of pupils and teachers have been and stillincreasing and with that, at this moment, there is a lack of classroom for the pupils. So far the school has 244 enrolled pupils with 9 teachers, 7 classrooms and an admin office. The grade 1 and grade 2 pupils need to share classroom to occupyso that they will not use the school stage. The school never stop finding ways to provide adequate rooms and other school facilities to learners to ensure that they will have a quality education.

The following are the list of School heads who served in this school: Rufo Romano (1997-1999), Aurea Valderama (1999-2002), Marilyn Samson (2002-2007), Lorna Bojangin (2007-2008), Leonila R. Yanto (2008-2015), Maria Rowena C. Cababa (2015-2021), Shierrie H. Ortega (2021-2022), Dr. Myrisa I. Balondo (2022-2025) and Demetrio C. Bautista is the current School Head of HES.
