The ARAL (Accelerated Reading and Learning) Program at Hinatuan National Comprehensive High School is designed to support learners who are performing two grade levels below their current academic level. The program focuses on improving reading proficiency, fostering lifelong learning habits, and strengthening Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) skills.
This ARAL site serves as a hub for reading interventions, assessments, and learner tracking, providing:
Small-group reading sessions tailored to learner needs.
Phil-IRI assessments (BoSY, MoSY, EoSY) to monitor progress.
SEL-integrated activities that enhance resilience, motivation, and engagement.
Data-driven interventions to ensure learners regain momentum and achieve proficiency.
To develop confident, motivated, and independent learners who are equipped with essential literacy and SEL skills for academic success and lifelong learning.
Provide targeted reading interventions for learners performing below grade level.
