Without forgetting the most essential learning competencies in Physical Education and Health, Sir James Mike O. Caday thought of giving physical activities a twist from the usual cheerdancing, aerobics, sports among others. This time, instead of executing triple sommersaults, doing the jumps and lifting or just simply breaking some bones for acrobatic floor exercises, students were tasked to pour their strength and test their agility in home gardening through the Project MASIPAG which means Maximizing the Ability of Students through Integrative Physical Activity- Gardening.
As can be seen in the pictures below, some of our Grade 12 students have already started their home garden. Some of their family members even helped in the activity. Surely, these gardens will soon grow fresh vegetables and fruits which will be in time for the reaping of academic harvests comes July. With the eagerness of our Seniors to maintain the plots they have started, they will not only acquire theoretical knowledge but more so, they will learn how to survive.
Congratulations Grade 12 students!
