TECHNICAL VOCATION LIVELIHOOD

This track also invests primarily on skills that can give students requisite COCs (Certificates of Competency) and NCs (National Certifications) which would be essential when looking for better career opportunities in information communication technology, home economics, and industrial arts. The optimal skills and certifications acquired under TVL Track are especially necessary when applying abroad.

HOME ECONOMICS

This Strand can lead you to National certifications based on TESDA standards. This strand will take you to courses on bread and pastry production, caregiving, cookery, and food and beverage services.

This curriculum guide on Bread and Pastry Production course leads to National Certificate Level II (NC II). This course is designed for high school student to develop knowledge, skills, and attitude to perform the tasks on Bread and Pastry Production. It covers core competencies namely: 1) prepare and produce bakery products; 2) prepare and produce pastry products; 3) prepare and present gateau, tortes and cakes; 4) prepare and display petit fours and 5) present deserts.

This curriculum guide is an exploratory course in Cookery, which leads to National Certificate Level II (NC II). It covers five common competencies that a high school student ought to possess, namely: 1) knowledge of the use of tools, equipment, and paraphernalia; 2) maintenance of tools, equipment, and paraphernalia; 3) performance of mensuration and calculation; 4) interpretation of technical drawings and plans; and 5) the practice of Occupational Health and Safety Procedures (OHSP)

This curriculum guide is an exploratory course in Caregiving which leads to National Certificate Level II (NC II). It covers four common competencies that a high school student ought to possess, namely: 1) use of tools, equipment; and paraphernalia 2) maintain tools, equipment and paraphernalia 3) perform mensuration and calculation; and 4) practicing Occupational Health and Safety Procedures (OHSP)

This curriculum guide on Food and Beverage Services leads to National Certificate Level II (NC II).This course is designed for a high school student to develop knowledge, skills, and attitude to perform the tasks required. It covers the core competencies of (1) prepare dining room/restaurant area for service; (2) welcome guests and take food and beverage orders; (3) promote food and beverage products; (4) provide food and beverage services to guest; (5) provide room service; and (6) receive and handle guest concerns.

INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATIONS TECHNOLOGY

Under this strand, you can learn illustrating, animating, assembling/disassembling computers, formatting and installing computer software's, networking, and other related topics under Animation and Computer System Services. Skills learned in this strand can lead you to National certifications based on TESDA standards.

This is an introductory and specialization course which leads to an Animation National Certificate Level II (NC II). It covers Personal Entrepreneurial Competencies (PECs); Environment and Market; five (5) Common Competencies; and one (1) Core Competency that a high school student ought to possess to produce clean-up and in-between drawings.

This is an exploratory and introductory course that leads to an Illustration National Certificate Level II (NC II). It covers five (5) common competencies that a student ought to possess, namely: 1) use of tools; 2) maintaining tools, equipment, and paraphernalia; 3) performing mensuration and calculation; 4) interpreting technical drawing and design; and 5) practicing Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) procedures.

This is an introductory course that leads to a Computer Systems Servicing National Certificate Level II (NC II). It covers seven (7) common competencies that a student ought to possess: 1) application of quality standards, 2) computer operations; 3) performing mensuration and calculation; 4) preparation and interpretation of technical drawing; 5) the use of hand tools; 6) terminating and connecting electrical wiring and electronics circuits; and 7) testing electronics components; and four (4) core competencies, namely, 1) installing and configuring computer systems, 2.) setting up computer networks, 3) setting up computer servers, and 4) maintaining and repairing computer systems and networks.

INDUSTRIAL ARTS

This strand offers different specializations from car mechanics to transmission line installation. You should also expect subjects on automotive and maintenance, proper methods of electrical installation, and safety of electrical installation.

This is an exploratory and introductory course which leads to an Electrical Installation and Maintenance National Certificate Level II (NC II). It covers five common competencies that the Grade 11 and 12 student ought to possess: (1) using tools, equipment and paraphernalia, 2) performing mensuration and calculation, 3) practicing Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) procedures, 4) maintaining tools, equipment and paraphernalia, and 5) interpreting technical drawing and plans.

This course is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills and attitudes of an individual in the field of Automotive Servicing in accordance with industry standards. It covers the remaining core competencies which are not included in Automotive Servicing (NC I) such as: servicing automotive battery, servicing ignition system, testing and repairing wiring/lighting system, servicing starting system, servicing charging system, servicing engine mechanical system, servicing clutch system, servicing clutch and differential and front axle, servicing steering system, servicing brake system, servicing suspension system, performing underchassis preventive maintenance and overhauling manual transmission.
