Enrile Vocational High School (EVHS) was established by virtue of Republic Act 4441 and started its operation on July 6, 1971, thus opening doors of opportunities for progress to education-loving Enrileños.
The old town market, now Anak Mahirap Gymnasium provided the first shelter to 64 pioneer boys with Building Construction and Furniture and Cabinet Making as vocational trade specializations. In 1973, EVHS transferred to its present site which is five-hectare lot that is situated at the foot of historic Sinupac hills.
EVHS became a complete secondary trade school with a population of 311 students for School Year 1974-1975. In the succeeding year, EVHS started to offer Girls Trade with Garment Trades as the first Vocational trade course.
Today, with one thousand four hundred students under its roof, EVHS has multi-offerings in technical vocational courses. They are Food Trades Technology, Automotive Technology, Carpentry, Garment Trades, Cosmetology, Furniture and Cabinet Making, Electricity, Electronics, Plumbing, and Drafting Technology.
At present, Enrile Vocational High School has a total population of one thousand four hundred (1400) students. It has seventy one (71) instructional rooms and thirteen (13) non-instructional rooms utilized for the office of the principal and head teachers, school learning resource center (SLRC), faculty and administrative functions. Some classrooms have shared built-in toilets. Others used communal comfort rooms.
There are seventy four (74) nationally funded teachers; six (6) Master Teacher II items, twelve (12) Master Teacher I items; six (6) Head Teacher items, forty nine (49) Teacher III items, one (1) Teacher I item, thirteen (13) non- teaching personnel which includes the administrative officer and the accountant and headed by a Principal III . Most of the teachers attended the graduate school.
One of the concerns of the school is malnutrition. There are forty- six (46) severely wasted students. The School Based Feeding Program (SBFP) is organized to address malnutrition through the financial grant of the DepEd, school canteen gain/profit and the proceeds of the Gulayan sa Paaralan Program (GPP).
The Child Protection Committee (CPC) is organized by the school to ensure the safety and protection of every school learner.
