HISTORY

In 1910 During the Spanish regime the first school in entire Amulung was founded under the superintedency of John Manin Butler. It was situated on a one hectar lot at the boundary of Estefania and Concepcion. Due to its proximity to the next barangay and the fact that it was frequently flooded during the rainy season the school was then transferred to the present site in 1948. A school pathway was donated by Mr. Juan R. Montilla.

In February 14, 1958 a deed of donation was executed by Judge Higinio R. Montilla referring to the portion of a parcel of land situated in Estefania, Amulung, Cagayan consist iof two hectares to be used exclusively and forever for the school purposes. The deed of donation also states the first hectar is an exchange of the former school lot and the other is his donation.

Estefania school first teachers were Spaniards. They taught in Spanish language to the old schoolsite. After the world war II, the teachers were Americans, teaching English Language to the people of Estefania and Concepcion. The very first School Head in the old site Mr. Benjamin Adame from 1946-1954. In 1954-1987Juan Rey Montilla-Teacher In-charge,then became the school Head Teacher and his first teachers wee Mr. Villaflor, Mrs. Aquino, Mrs. Catolico and Mrs. Ester Rey. following was the construction of several buildings. Mr. Marino Aguadain 1987-1994; Vito C. Talattad in 1994-2004; Salome C. Abogado-2004-2012; Marissa G. Lavadia -2012-2016: Vilma C. Magora -2016-up to present.
