Dita Elementary School is one of the complete Elementary Schools in District 8, Division of Bayawan City. It is situated at Sitio Dita, Barangay Tabuan, Bayawan City. The road going to the school is passable, it is 4 kilometers away from Tabuan Proper, Bayawan City. This lot is donated by the LGU Bayawan City headed by Honorable John T. Raymond.
The schools offers Kindergarten up to Grade 6. Kindergarten, Grade 1, Grade 2, Grade 3, Grade 4 and Grade 5 are under the implementation of MATATAG Curriculum, while Grade 6 is under the implementation of K-12 Curriculum of the Department of Education. The school is proud of its excellent educational programs, professional staff, enthusiastic learners, and the strong support from parents, community members, Barangay Council headed by Barangay Captain Celson Molina and LGU-Bayawan City.
The school is presently manage by a female Head Teacher I with seven (7) committed and dedicated teachers which all are nationally funded, one Contract of Service (COS) and one MOOE-paid male utility worker.
Over all the school have 2 buildings which are makeshifts which made from light materials as a temporary classroom from the start of operation of the school up to the present. The school's current classroom facilities are inadequate.
Dita Elementary School is transferred to a new location, it is an upland area of 10,000 sq. meters with clay, clay loam, and loam soil, suitable for cultivating root crops, legumes, and sugarcane. The surrounding communities are primarily agricultural, with many residents involved in farming and related activities.
