Learning Action Cell Session- School Base
Early January of the year, I conducted LAC-session at our school. To share some key insights I gained from the recent training on the use of Gemini AI. The session highlighted how Gemini AI can enhance productivity by streamlining research, generating accurate summaries, and supporting decision-making with data-driven insights. I learned practical applications such as drafting content more efficiently, analyzing information with greater precision, and leveraging AI to improve collaboration and knowledge sharing.
As for the output, the teachers presented their storybooks created using Gemini AI. They were enthusiastic and expressed interest in developing more topic-based stories to support their learners in understanding different subjects. The Gemini AI certificate is not yet available due to the busy schedule of the teachers.
Overall, the training emphasized that Gemini AI is not just a tool for automation, but a partner in enhancing creativity and critical thinking. I believe these learnings will be valuable for our team as we continue to explore innovative ways to integrate AI into our workflows.
Filipino-Values Month Celebration 2025
Theme: “Serbisyo at Mabuting Asal: Pamilya, Trabaho, Magkasabay sa Pagpapakatao"
Teachers - Pamilya ko Inspirasyon ko sa Pagtuturo Sharing Session
“Teachers share short reflections or stories on how their family values inspire their passion and dedication to teaching.”
Sta. Monica National High School teaching staff explored how the values of love and discipline we learned at home shape our professional values and contribute to teaching excellence. We have a LAC - session where teachers express their personal experiences about the FVM - theme.
For the love at home we shared how does experiencing love and care at home influence the way teachers show empathy and compassion to students. Most of our teachers shared their stories about “Love at home teaches us empathy; as educators, we transform that empathy into inclusive learning.” Said ma’am Felipa Valencia. “The kindness we receive from our families becomes the kindness we extend to our students.” From ma’am Marife Malaban. “Teaching is not just about knowledge it is about carrying the love we learned at home into every classroom.” Said ma’am Juvy Moreno. Ma’am Cristy May Macatangay said, “Love and discipline from home are the twin pillars of professional values that make teachers role models.” While, Ma’am Joy Bulalaque said, “Discipline from home guides our professionalism, but love from home inspires our teaching excellence.” From ma’am Mylene Ramos. “When teachers bring the warmth of home into school, students feel valued, respected, and motivated.” Sir Alvin Mancilla also shared, “The love we first learn at home becomes the compassion we share in the classroom.” These were some lines that we collectively agreed and shared.
The classroom is an extension of the home. The love and discipline we first learn within our families become the guiding principles that shape us into excellent educators and professionals.
Conferences....
In today’s dynamic learning environment, collaboration during conferences plays a pivotal role in delivering strategic lessons that go beyond textbook knowledge. These gatherings whether academic, professional, or community-based create a space where participants can exchange ideas, challenge perspectives, and co-create solutions.
In education or organizational settings, collaboration in conferences transforms passive learning into an active, strategic process one that empowers individuals to become thoughtful leaders and engaged citizens.
