LEARNING ACTION CELL
A School Learning Action Cell (LAC) Session was conducted at Balisong Elementary School focusing on the implementation of ESP-RBB, Project XIN, Retrospect Batang Batangueño, and EsP MATATAG Capsule Updates for School Year 2025-2026.
The session started with an opening prayer followed by a minute of silence, highlighting the theme “A Minute of Silence, A Lifetime of Reflection,” to encourage teachers to reflect on their role in values education and character formation among learners.
Mrs. Marilyn S. Gidorio discussed the ESP-RBB (Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao – Retrospect Batang Batangueño) Activities, explaining that the program aims to deepen learners’ understanding of good values through guided reading, reflection, and meaningful classroom activities. She emphasized the importance of integrating Batangueño values in daily lessons to help develop respectful, responsible, and God-fearing learners.
Mrs. Joy D. Limyoco presented the Implementation of Retrospect Batang Batangueño for SY 2025-2026 based on DM 380 s. 2025 under Project XIN, explaining the proper procedures, schedule of activities, and expected outputs from teachers and pupils. She reminded the teachers to ensure that the activities are aligned with the objectives of the program and should be properly documented.
Mrs. Mabelle A. Magsino shared the 2025 EsP MATATAG Capsule Updates, providing important information about the latest guidelines, strategies, and learning resources to support the effective teaching of Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao under the MATATAG Curriculum. She encouraged teachers to continuously collaborate and share best practices to improve learners’ values formation.
The LAC session became an opportunity for teachers to exchange ideas, ask questions, and clarify concerns regarding the implementation of the different EsP programs. The activity ended with a renewed commitment from the teachers to actively support the school’s goal of developing learners who are disciplined, respectful, and value-oriented.
Generally, the LAC session was successful in strengthening the teachers’ understanding of the different programs and in promoting unity in achieving the objectives of Retrospect Batang Batangueño and EsP MATATAG implementation in Balisong Elementary School.
