According to DepEd Order No. 009, s. 2021, the QMS aims to integrate and streamline the systems and processes within the Department through the QMS Manual and Procedures, and Working Instructions Manual (PAWIM) that will serve as a guide for all DepEd offices and schools.

The QMS Structure is intended to guarantee that the DepEd quality standards, objectives, and targets are met.

The DepEd Regional Office V (RO V) gears up for One DepEd, One QMS of DepEd Order 009 s. 2021 titled Institutionalization of Quality Management System in the Department of Education. In line with this, Knowledge Management (KM) uses people, processes, and technology to make it easier to create, access, and reuse knowledge. The KM deals with shared, "living" knowledge and experience from the everyday operations of the RO V.
