Queens Row Elem. School is envisioned to mold the lives of our learners toward a positive change of behavior and contribute to the development of their own community and the nation. The school is considered as mega-large school in the division of Bacoor. Queens Row Elem. The school is located at Queens Row Central, City of Bacoor, and can be reached by jeepneys and tricycles. The school was established in 1976 with the land area of 12,830 sq.m.
At present, it has 7628 learners headed by an Elem. School Principal IV. There are 234 Nationally funded Teachers which include five (5) Master Teachers II, thirteen (13) Master Teacher I, four (4) Sped Teachers, 125 Teacher I, 16 Teacher II, 72 Teacher III, one (1) AO II, nationally-funded, four (4) ADA IV , and four (4) School Guards paid by the City Government, four (4) utility workers subsidized by School MOOE. There are twenty (20) teachers handling kindergarten classes, 33 teachers for Grade I including 2 SSES for Matatag Curriculum teachers, 35 teachers for Grade II, 36 teachers for Grade III, 35 teachers for Grade IV, 33 teachers for Grade V, 33 teachers for Grade VI, four (4) teachers for SPED. Queens Row is adopting two shifts, morning and afternoon shifts; Classroom pupils ratio is within the parameters 1:35 for Grades I-3 and 1:45 for Grades 4 to 6. There are 13 buildings, one (1) multi-purpose hall and one (1) covered court, 92 instructional rooms, and 14 noninstructional rooms, while the rest are used as administrative offices and ancillary services.
School facilities including ancillary services are maintained and improved for the effective implementation of basic services to our learners All available resources are being harnessed including LGU’s and NGO’s.
The Health and Nutrition status of learners is another key concern of the school to make teaching-learning experiences efficient and effective. There are programs, activities, and projects being implemented annually to ensure that learners are in good health while learning in school. These programs/activities include Deworming, Dental Check–Up, Eye Test, Supplementary Feeding given by the Canteen and a Feeding Program funded by the DepEd. The feeding is given to all learners whose nutritional status is severely wasted and wasted as well.
Parent’s support has a vital role to every learner. Parents’ participation in different school activities persuade and stimulate their children to continue their quest for education. Different activities such as Brigada Eskwela, General PTA Assemblies, Homeroom PTA Meetings, and Family Day were participated by 75% of the parents. It’s very important that all Stakeholders are united and work as a TEAM - Together Everyone Achieves More.
The school has downloaded MOOE allocated and liquidated based on the programs & projects set in the SIP, AIP and APP. The School‘s Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) validates all the needed papers on the liquidation process. The monthly report on the financial statement is posted on the Transparency Board and also discussed or presented during our meeting.
Teachers play an important role in the realization of the school’s vision. They are given opportunities to attend seminars and trainings to enhance their competencies and improve their effectiveness and efficiency in performing their tasks. Teachers are also motivated to uplift their economic status through promotions and pursue their masteral or doctoral degree.
Queens Elem. School continuously improves itself to provide basic quality education and services to its learners.
