Some ants like to eat sweet things, like cake and honey. Other ants eat plants. They may chew off a piece of a plant and carry it home to the nest where they live. All ants live in big families. The head of the ant family is called the queen.

You can find ants all over the world. Look out, because most ants will bite and it will sting.
