Dawis Elementary School is approximately located five and a half kilometers south from the Bais City Division Office. Currently it offers basic elementary education from Kindergarten to Grade Six with a total school population of two hundred forty-two (242) as of School Year 2020-2021. It composed of the following personnel : one (1) Head Teacher II, One (1) Master Teacher I,  Three (3) Teacher III, Five (5) Teacher II, One (1) Administrative Aide I and One (1) ADAS III.

                    The school was established in 1985 and since then, it offers basic elementary education to the young not only of Barangay Canlargo but also neighboring places like Cambuilao and Manipis, Tanjay City. The pupils are accomodated in four buildings which comprise Eight (8) classrooms, all intended for educational use. It has IT equipment package (computers, laptop, printers, LCD projectors and computer accessories from the DepEd Computerization Program. The school is also one of the recepients of the Text2Teach Educational Package consisting of a television set with cellphone to facilitate in the film showing process.
