A Teacher-Scholar in Singapore
Ms. Aileen T. Bajaro, a Teacher III of Catanduanes NHS, is currently in Singapore for a Scholarship Grant from SEAMEO RELC. Ms. Bajaro was successfully accepted as a scholar of MTESOL: Master of Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. The face-to-face study lasts from February 28, 2023, to October 14, 2023.
NQESH 2021 Category A Qualifiers
Last July 31, 2022 the first ever online National Qualifying Examination for School Heads (NQESH) was held. Six (6) out of nineteen (19) takers from SDO Catanduanes passed the exam and is eligible to the Principal position. The passing rate is 31.58%, from 0% of the previous years.

Request for LDM Certification
Please be guided by the following steps on how to request for your LDM Certification from the Region:
Write a Letter of Request addressed to Regional Director Gilbert T. Sadsad.
The letter of request must contain the following information
Name of requesting party
Position
Name of School/District/SDO
LDM Course (1 or 2)
Role in LDM
Purpose of request
Upload the signed Letter of Request together with the Copy of the Certificate downloaded from your email and/or screenshot the LDM 1 or 2 Certificate of rating sheet with your name and rating to https://bit.ly/requestformldm.
If you did not receive an LDM Certificate in your email, please contact hrd.ctd@deped.gov.ph.
The LDM Certification will be received in the email address provided in the form.
Request for SHDP Certification
Please be guided by the following steps on how to request for your SHDP Certification from the Region:
Write a Letter of Request addressed to Regional Director Gilbert T. Sadsad.
The letter of request must contain the following information
Name of requesting party
Position
Name of School/District/SDO
Inclusive dates and places of the training
Purpose of securing the certification
Cellphone Number
Email Address
Attach the Copy of the Certificate of Completion
Email the Letter of Request with complete attachment to hrdd.rov@deped.gov.ph.
The SHDP Certificaiton will be sent to the email address provided.
