A. Admission for Pupils

Pre-school

- At least 5 years old by October

- NSO Birth Certificate

Elementary

For Grade One

- At least 6 years old as of October

- NSO Birth Certificate

For Transferees

- Form 138 and Certificate of Good Character signed by the Principal (original copy)

- For students who studied abroad, a copy of original F-138 and Certificate of School Principal authenticated by the Philippine Foreign Service Post (PFSP) Philippine Embassy in their country of origin

For ALS

- NSO issued Birth Certificate

- Form 138 of grade level last attended

- 2X2 pictures

B. Enrolment Procedures

- Incoming Kinder pupils to enroll on last week of January for the next school year

- Incoming Grade I to enroll with the Certificate of Completion in Kinder from April- June

- For Grade Two to Six, they are automatically enrolled for the next grade level if they passed and if they are to enroll in the same school without any enrolment fee.

C. Academic Regulations

1. Wearing of proper uniform daily

a. Boys- white polo or white t-shirt, gray pants

b. Girls- white blouse and checkered pink skirt

2. Prescribed hair

a. Boys- short cut/ no color

b. Girls- wear headband or ponytails for long hair/ no color

3. School Policies on Attending Classes

a. At exactly 5:45 AM pupils must be in the school premises for morning session and 12:00PM for afternoon session in proper uniform with school I.D.

b. Pupils are not permitted to leave the school without permission during class hours. In case of emergency, only the immediate member of the family may ask permission from the principal so that the pupil can leave the school.

c. The pupil is considered late if she/he arrives after the grace period (10 minutes after the time). If the pupil accumulated 5 times tardy parent will be invited for a conference with section adviser. Pupils who are habitually tardy will be recorded at the guidance office

4. Admission to Class Everyday

a. Parents must write excuse letter thus the pupil’s press release notebook indicating therein reason why the pupil is absent. In case of three times absences and there is no excuse letter sent, the parent will be called for a conference with the teacher-adviser during off session

b. In case of absenteeism/ cutting classes, excuse letter signed by parent/guardian is to be presented to the adviser. A medical certificate is required also from pupils who have been absent due to illness.

5. The delivery and sevens is up to the gate only. If the child needs to be delivered and fetch in the classroom because of illness or disability parent must confer first with the teacher concerned.

6. On missed Summative Test and Periodic Examination, pupils who are absent, will only be given special examination if they are sick supported by a medical certificate or parents will talk with the teacher and a valid reason for absence is justified.

7. No Read No Pass Policy is implemented

8. Grading System is based on DepEd Order and is strictly followed.

D. Fees and Payments

- No Collection Policy during enrolment

- Payment for Red Cross, Anti- TB, GSP/BSP Registry, Journalism Fee are collected from Grades IV to VI only

- Twinkler, KAB and Star Scouts are collected payment for registration

- Field Trip, Film Showing and Stage Play are done once a year each for a reasonable price and are voluntary in nature.

F. Discipline

Various Offenses

1. Minor Offenses

A minor offense is one that merits a warning, summoning of parents or a written apology from the offender to the persons concerned as the case may be.

a. Wearing/Putting earrings on the different parts of the body (only girls are allowed to wear/pair of earrings)

b. Loitering on the school corridors, stairs, CR and different places on the school campus during school hours.

c. Cutting classes and being truant.

d. Carrying things that can disturb classes (ex. Cellphone, game watch, mp3 etc.)

e. Inappropriate behavior and display of negative habits that can interfere with class.

f. Hanging out/playing in computer game stores, video house, billiard halls during school hours/ after school hours wearing school uniforms.

g. Frequent unexcused absences and tardiness.

h. Entering the school without I.D. or using someone else I.D.

i. Littering

j. Disturbing one’s class or that of another.

2. Serious Offense:

a. Forging or falsifying and/or tampering with academic or official records or documents of any kind, attempting to practice deception.

b. Vandalism/ destroying school properties.

c. Academic dishonesty (cheating)

d. Smoking and possession of cigarette/ alcoholic beverages

e. Carrying deadly weapons (ice picks or blades, lead pipes, explosives like firecrackers, pyrotechnics within the school premises)

f. Fighting and assaulting pupils

g. Threat, extortion or unauthorized collection of money

h. Possession of pornographic materials

i. Organizing and joining gangs and fraternities

j. Gross disrespect for teachers and school authorities

k. Circulating and publishing false information about school personnel, teacher and students.

l. Sexual harassment

m. Drug abuse

n. Posting malicious intents on facebook against classmates, teachers and school officials

Penalties

A. Kind of Penalties

1. Warning- Warning is a punishment for minor offenses committed against the code of discipline

2. Suspension- suspension is a punishment for a major offense committed against the code of discipline. It includes the exclusion from classes other privilegesor activities or from the campus as set forth in the notice of suspension.

3. Dismissal- For a very serious and grave offense.

4. Expulsion- The penalty of expulsion is an extreme form of administration which debars a student from all public and public schools. To be valid and effective, the penalty of expulsion requires the approval of the DepEd.

B. Due Process

In the investigation of a disciplinary case, due process is observed according to established school procedure. Due process exists for the protection of the student. The procedure is as follows:

For Major Offense

1. The pupil and his/her parents are informed of the nature and cause of any accusation against her/him.

2. The pupil shall have the right to answer the charges against her/him in the presence of his/her parents

3. The students shall be informed of the evidence against her/him.

4. The students shall have the right to adduce or present evidence in his or her behalf.

5. The guidance office conducts an investigation of the case.

6. In case the charge is bullying, both the bully and the bullied will be given counseling intervention.

7. After the investigation, the guidance office recommends appropriate disciplinary action to the principal for the final endorsement and approval.

8. The student has the right to appeal to his/her case to the school head when decision is final.

For Major Offense

The erring students shall be sent to the Guidance Office for proper investigation, examination or sanctions with the presence of their parents or guardians
