CHILD PROTECTION POLICY

The Child Protection Council and the School Governing Council of the Claveria East Central School drafted some guidelines to be followed by parents, teachers, stakeholders and pupils.

1. Pupils shall respect the right of others and refrain from bullying and violence

2. If bullying and physical abuse is done by a pupil to another pupil;

1^st Time – adviser to solve the problem

2^nd Time – call parents

3^rd Time – Guidance Counsellor or Principal for appropriate action

3. If a teacher commits bullying and physical abuse and oral abuse, report the matter directly to the principal.

4. If a child reports to his parents bullying done by his classmates, report to the class adviser.

5. Corporal punishment shall not be imposed on any child in school in the purpose of training or control.

6. If the teacher repeatedly commit bullying or physical abuse, the child Protection council has the right to mediate.

7. If the parent has a problem regarding bullying or physical abuse of their children, don’t tell to fellow parents but rather report to the principal

8. The Child Protection Council with their contact numbers/mobile numbers shall be posted in conspicuous place.
