It gives a great pleasure to welcome you to the Claveria East Central School website. I hope that as you peruse through the content of this website, you will get familiar with our school, its policies, programs, accomplishments and activities.
The Claveria East Central School is a great place to teach and learn. It serves approximately 436 learners. It has a long and rewarding history of achievements in academics and co-curricular activities.
In this time of New Normal, school year 2021-2022 will be different than any school year in the history of our school and district, yet what will never change is our commitment to serving our learners, families, communities with compassion, perseverance and dedication. The teaching staff are committed to a quality learning experience focused on the needs of learners. We are committed to our mission of preparing learners to be productive citizens and successful in pursuing life goals.
With the usual support and assistance of our partners, our external and internal stakeholders, I affirm with confidence to uphold integrity and wisdom to carry out its programs, projects and activities for quality education.
The complete teaching force of Claveria East Central School embraced new learning opportunity through School Learning Action Cell ( SLAC) on the topic Online Learning Tools – Classpoint cascaded by Mr. Dexter G. Rapanut , Master Teacher 1 , the ac leader, conducted last November .
Through a circulating division memo, topics discussed during the division Virtual seminar on online tools shall be echoed in school level. This gave teachers a broader view that teaching and learning this time of pandemic can still be carried out with high commendation.
Mr. Rapanut discussed in detail the special features of Classpoint. Through this app teaching and learning become engaging ang interactive. It contains unique menus like annotation setting, interactive quiz. This impressed teachers that the usual powerpoint presentation evolved in its new version with the help of the app.
“ I appreciate so much the timely evolvement of classpoint. We’ve been longing for complete package of online learning tool. Finally, our long wait is over . I know this will give motivation to us teachers as well as to our dear learners.” Said Rosemarie Paragua.
The main purpose of the SLAC which is for teachers to be able to use and create their own sample PowerPoint presentation with classpoint app has been achieved through the splendid outputs and successful presentation made by participants.
“ Your outputs are really impressive. These only convey that you are now ready to apply this in your respective classes. I am looking forward for the success of your online teaching,” said Mr. Rapanut.
Crisostomo recognized the active participation of the participants and their enthusiasm to acquire new learning. She encouraged the teachers to continue their devotion towards extending quality services to their learners and to embrace new innovations of teaching that can enhance the learning of their pupil
Mr. Dexter G. Rapanut, master teacher 1 of Claveria East Central School landed first runner up in the recently concluded search for outstanding master teacher held at Claveria Central School , September 2021 where Mrs. Charito Tagala, Master Teacher 2 of Claveria Central School was his tough contender .
Division memorandum no 127 s 2020 was adopted as the reference of assessment that all the contenders need to stick to it and lacking for any of the required mode of verifications or MOVs means no point shall be given to a certain criterion. It was a stiff fight among the contenders for they must be very careful with their documents and its specifications.
" With the rigidness of the assessment, I’m grateful that I became part of this assessment. It is the experience that counts and that someday I would be aware of my lacking," said Mr. Rapanut.
Principals from west District and East District composed the screening committee which include Jovy Grace Crisostomo of Claveria East Central, Joseph Tumaneng of Malasin Elementary School, Abraham Acosta of CRVS and Dionisio Balanay of Taggat Sur. They were so particular of the documents presented and each document was properly appraised.
" Proper documentation should be considered always so that your documents be credited. It’s nice that you join such kind of assessments and that you are given ideas about it," Crisostomo explained.
The winners will be awarded on October 9, 2021 at Claveria Central School.
