HISTORY OF CAMBONG ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
According to historical regard, during the administration of Honourable Barangay Captain Rizaldy B. Bacuyag, he valued much the importance of education. Every time he saw children walking to neighboring barangay for education, he felt pity. He envisaged a school in his own barangay for children to acquire basic education. He decided to build and open a school for his barangay mate, the Cambongenos through the help and abetment of the authorized officials for the realization and fulfilment of his dream. Thus, began Cambong Elementary School.
In March 2014, Cambong Primary School opened as annex school of Sta. Teresa Elementary School, the mother school. There were 59 pupils from Kindergarten to Grade II aggregated succeeding in a classroom through the initiative and collaborative effort of Honorable Barangay Captain Rizaldy B. Bacuyag and Dr. Roberta V. Antolin, the Public Schools District Supervisor of Lal-lo Central District. Joyce V. Urbi assumed as Teacher In-Charge.
In March 2015, granted the School I.D. and authorized Cambong Primary School to be separated from the mother school.
On June 4, 2017, opening of Grade III and Grade IV took effect and on June 5, 2018, the opening of Grades V and VI to commence School Year 2018 – 2019 marked a milestone in the curricular development of Cambong Elementary School.
Years later, Cambong Primary School renamed to Cambong Elementary School. To cater to the increasing population of the school, buildings were constructed under the leadership and initiative of Honorable Municipal Mayor Florante C. Pascual.
From School Year 2015 to present, Emiflor V. Jerusalem appointed Teacher In - Charge with 6 teachers providing the 150 learners with quality education.
