Mr. Riniel Daquioag, Teacher-In-Charge has just pressed the button of the ring bell signalling the conduct of the 2026 First Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED).

School personnel and learners joined the conduct of the 2026 Quarter 1 Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) pursuant to NDRRMC Memorandum No. 15, series of 2026. The drill aimed to test the school's preparedness and response to earthquake emergencies.

Participants demonstrated the "Duck, Cover and Hold Technique" and eventually evacuated the classroom buildings safely and orderly going to the school's designated evacuation area.

The drill demonstrated the school's commitment to prioritizing safety and disaster risk reduction.

To ensure the robust delivery of learning recovery initiatives, Education Program Supervisor (EPS) in Filipino, Virgie Bergonia, conducted a comprehensive monitoring and Technical Assistance (TA) visit at Cabeceria 3 Elementary School.

The visit focused on the implementation of the Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning (ARAL) Program, a flagship initiative designed to address learning gaps and bolster the foundational literacy of learners.

During the onsite activity, EPS Bergonia also provided direct technical assistance to the school’s teaching staff. The TA provision centered on refining instructional strategies in Filipino, ensuring that remedial activities are not only aligned with the curriculum but are also responsive to the specific needs of the learners.

Beyond monitoring compliance, the visit served as a platform for identifying "bright spots" within the school. Data were gathered regarding the best practices employed by C3ES on ARAL implementation.
