GUIDANCE SERVICES PROGRAM
The program includes services / activities such as Individual Appraisal & Testing Service - to make a cumulative recording of personal information about each student to determine and meet their needs, Information Service – to give information regarding school services and activities, policies, rules, and regulations, Career and Placement Services – to assist in developing the students’ goals and choices related to their educational and vocational future & to provide opportunities and influences for self-formation and transformation, Counseling – to give students career decisions and choices.
NATIONAL DRUG EDUCATION PROGRAM
In Pursuant to Section 43 of Article IV R.A No.9165 otherwise as the “ Comprehensive Dangerous Act of 2002”, Bonfal National High School is one of the concern institutions in the welfare and betterment of students. The school, therefore, think all the aspects in developing the students mentally, socially, physically, emotionally and morally.
Bonfal National High School SSGO together with the NDEP Orgarnization aims to educate and expose the students to a variety of positive ways to stay away from any drug activities that can ruin their future lives. Hence, the Organization planned activities that can prevent or stop any drug activities of our students and one of these is the orientation of transferees on drug preventive measures. The SSGO and NDEP of Bonfal National High School planned many activities inorder to help in making Bonfal National High School a drug-free school.
The SSGO and NDEP conducted the first activity which is a symposium on drug awareness last July 11, 2015 attended by all students, teachers, barangay officials and parents. The PNP officers were invited to be the speakers.
The SSGO and NDEP held the Orientation of transferees on Drug Preventive Measure, Child Protection and School Rules and Policies last July 14, 2015 @ 2:00 pm in Bonfal National High School participated by 72 transferees students and parents. Again, the PNP officers were invited to be the speakers together with the Head Teacher and Principal of this school.
