History

BAYBAYOG NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL (formerly Alcala Rural School - Baybayog Annex) started its operation in June 1996 under Republic Act 2313 sponsored by Hon. Congressman Patrick T. Antonio. The school has a land area of one hectare (10,000 sqm) at Baybayog, Alcala, Cagayan just along provincial road going east of the national highway. As an annex school, the operation was manned by the faculty and staff of the mother school for period of eighteen (18) years, until such time it separated from the mother school.

This learning institution was officially named Baybayog High School on August 22, 2012. It was separated during the Administration of Mr. Ruben H. Cangas, Vocational Administrator I.
