In this fundamental course, students are introduced to basic technical drawing skills and terminology. Terms and definitions used in industries, such as manufacturing and construction, may also be covered. Specific skills introduced in this course may include sketching, geometric construction, auxiliary drawing, computing dimensions and lettering.
Dressmaking NC II covers the outcomes required in drafting and cutting basic/block patterns for casual apparel. It includes the requirements for planning garment design, taking body measurement, drafting basic/block pattern and cutting final pattern.
Food Processing covers the knowledge, skills and attitudes required in processing food by fermentation and pickling such as preparing equipment, tools, and utensils, preparing the raw materials, performing alcoholic fermentation of fruits and vegetables, performing acetic, lactic acid fermentation and pickling of vegetables, fermenting fish and other marine products and preparing production report
This course covers the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of students required to support horticultural production work. It focused on learning the ability to prepare material tools and equipment for horticultural production, hygiene and quality control.
