The OPEN HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAM (OHSP) is one of the holistic Alternative Delivery Modes (ADM) conceptualized by the Bureau of Secondary Education to address the problems of high dropout rate, high repetition rate and low participation rate among Secondary Schools in the country. This is also designed to help Filipino adults and out of school youth earn high school diploma which they were not able to have during school age days.
The Division of Sta. Rosa City believes that this program will help alleviate poverty and uplift the economics status of every family in the city. Thus, the department commence on the offering Open High School Program (OHSP) at Balibago Integrated High School starting School Year 2013 – 2014. This will give opportunity to every working student and Out of School Youth enrolled in the program earn high school diploma and land a better paying job or work.
