ENGLISH TRANSLATION: HIDE

To put something or someone in a place where that thing or person cannot be seen or found, or put or keep out of sight; conceal from the view or notice of others.

Isn't a word you'll often hear colloquially used in Filipino. Ikubli means "to hide" and is an older word that you'll probably still hear being used. A word synonymous with ikubli is itago, which is more commonly used.

EXAMPLES:

• Ikubli mo mga gamit natin sa aparador.

• Maaari ko bang ikubli ang iyong larawan.

• Ang kanyang lihim ay nalantadna't walang dahilan para ikubli pa.
