About this Program
The Professional Development Program on Assessment and Emerging Literacies with focus on PISA is an initiative of the Office of the Secretary, in partnership with the Bureau of Educational Assessment, the Bureau of Learning Delivery, and a number of learning service providers that are accredited by the National Educators Academy of the Philippines, namely the Assessment, Curriculum, and Technology Research Centre (ACTRC), FrontLearners Inc., and the Center for Educational Measurement Inc.

The Department of Education invites English teachers among the participants of the Professional Development Program on Assessment and Emerging Literacies with focus on PISA (Assessment PD) to join our "Module 3-Reading: Improving our Reading Literacy Instruction and Assessment Part 2" this Saturday, March 12!
We will be joined by our resource speaker Dr. Sterling Plata of De La Salle University.

The Department of Education and Center for Educational Measurement, Inc. invites all ENGLISH teachers to participate in the upcoming Teaching & Assessing Reading Literacy course.
This course, which is a part of the Assessment PD program, will run for five weeks and will train you on how to help adolescent learners become independent, strategic, and effective readers. Completing this course will earn participants an additional e-certificate.
This course will run in two batches:
Batch 1: February 14 - March 19, 2022
**Batch 2: **March 17 - April 30, 2022
Important note: all ENGLISH teacher participants are required to attend only ONE batch of this training course.
