Schools Current Situation
Anonang Norte National High School is finally the answer to the long dream of the Nortehanons of having a National High School in their locality. It is a hilly agricultural land whose constituents are mostly farmers. Anonang Norte is one of the interior barangays of Bogo City, Cebu with a distance of 12 kilometers away from the city and it is reachable by means of a vehicle transportation. The land is acquired through the generosity of Judge Esperidion C. Reviral and his spouse Anastacia M. Reviral, who donated a total land area of 4637 sq.meters which is 2,5 kilometers away from the national highway. Despite of the distance and the means of livelihood of the Nortehanons, they were very supportive in terms of the education of their children.
Anonang Norte National High School was officially opened in School Year 2019-2020, having a total enrolment of forty- seven(47) Grade 7 students, of which 25 are males and 22 are females. Unfortunately, there is no available classroom yet since it is a newly opened school, however the Anonang Norte Elemenetary School provided three(3) classrooms for the Junior High School to occupy. There are two (2) nationally-funded teachers currently teaching and one(1) School Head who work hand in hand for the good benefit of the school.
And this S.Y. 2020-2021 we have forty-nine(49) Grade 8 students and twenty-three(23) Grade 7 students with two(2) regular teachers and one(1) School Head.
